I wonder if you could translate the 2nd article of the Human Rights Declaration into Manx. I'd be very pleased if someone could do that. That's the original text: Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty. You see, it's not very long and I guess every Manx speaker is also speaking English, so I'd appreciate if you could to me that favour.--31.17.153.69 03:35, 30 Jerrey Souree 2013 (UTC)

: I give up!! All my Manx grammar books state the "She x (eh/ee) y" (with or without the eh/ee) construction is perfectly fine. I've read that construction on so many occasions that I assumed it was correct (and is indeed the correct way in both Irish and Scottish Gaelic). I was also under the impression, (as per Stowell, Kelly, Draskau, etc.) that preposition + definite article causes lenition (unlike in Standard, Connacht and Munster Irish where it causes eclipsis, while in Donegal Irish and Scottish Gaelic it causes lenition), yet you seem to be removing incidents of just that type of lenition such as in the article Peintal. Rather than discuss things before changing them and seeing if consensus can be reached, you also seem to have quite a habit of unilateral changes, including article renaming (something which goes against the spirit of Wikipedia and its guidelines). On top of all this, and as a result, apparently my Manx dictionaries are all wrong (the word "caayr" was taken from a dictionary, and so was the word "abbyrt" with its translation. Fo-ghlaare isn't in any dictionary I have and its spelling runs contrary to the non-prefixed word of "glare" with a single "a"). Basically, it's your way or not at all. All my Manx dictionaries are wrong and all my Manx grammar books are wrong, which now means that I should throw them away and give up with Manx because, as I live in Ireland, it will now be impossible to learn Manx. It's all yours, Daniel. Do with the Manx Wikipedia as you wish. :: Okay, so I make one spelling error and you give up. You make many grammar errors and I correct them/advise you. I see no point in arguing with you and will put in a request to close this Wikipedia as it is a hindrance to learners. ::: And where have I got rid of this lenition? dq Loayr 16:23, 5 Mee Houney 2014 (UTC)
:::I have had a quick flick through Conversational Manx, Practical Manx, and First Lessons in Manx and found nothing referring to this 'she x (eh/ee) y'. Searching through books, however, I found no examples of "She x eh/ee y", but the Bible uses: "Son dy firrinagh she bee my eill, as dy firrinagh she jough my uill." (Ean 6:55); Brian Stowell's translation of Bye Bye Baby uses "She gilley beg skeoigh Bruce"; Cloan yn Olloo uses "She olloo fishig nyn ayr"; Paloma uses "She cronneyder Paloma Pettigrew ayns y Gharda Síochána".
